Hosted a Session on OwnYourStreet

Reap Benefit in collaboration with Rainmatter Foundation, hosted an Ask-Me-Anything session around OwnYourStreet (Street Audit). The audience was diverse in background, age, and geographies. There were government officials, citizens, students, and corporate employees, who actively engaged in the session with their questions and ideas. Archana KR also shared her experiences with the Are You Listening and Zero Flood Death campaigns, both of which utilised the street audit to crowdsource data. The session showcased the potential and impact of the street audit as a tool, and a mission. Participants showed interest in trying the audit and some even wanted to start the campaign in their areas. This experience allowed me to understand how various people in society perceive the street audit, and furthermore solidified the immense scope that lies ahead.

Co-Facilitated SolveBox Session for InnovatED-TFI

This edition of SolveBox brought together 12 dynamic entrepreneurs from Teach For India's InnovatED program. These dynamic participants lead 9 enterprises spanning regions across the country such as: TN, J&K, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Varanasi, all committed to skill-building for youth in underserved communities through innovative out-of-school programs. The session took them through a Learning-by-Doing experience, where we took them through a street audit to identify issues, and then brainstormed on solutions together in our teams. I also shared my experience on building the street audit, how it helps solve climate and urban sustainability issues from a small-scale. I had the opportunity to address many interesting questions about the tool and Reap Benefit. It was an enriching experience that helped broaden my persepctive.
