Hi everyone, my name is Prachi and I am from Odisha. I work in the space of education, socio-political empowerment of women and gender based violence (through my initiatives Project Nilay & Safe Odisha For Her). I also work full-time as a Policy consultant with govt. of odisha. I love talking to people, watching movies, dabble into politics discussions (till it overwhelms me) and am a big foodie. I am really grateful to be a part of this journey and would love to connect with all, to reach the vision of a fair and just society!

In our Socio-emotional Learning module, I have actively engaged in fostering relationship and community building through innovative methods such as art, play, and interactive activities. By integrating these creative approaches, I have been able to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages open communication and collaboration among participants. This hands-on experience has honed my skills in community collaboration and applied empathy, allowing me to effectively address diverse needs and perspectives within the group. Through critical thinking and problem-solving, I have developed strategies to enhance engagement and participation, ensuring that each activity not only strengthens interpersonal connections but also promotes a deeper understanding of civic and environmental responsibilities. This holistic approach has empowered participants to become more conscientious citizens, committed to contributing positively to their communities and the environment.

Project Nilay
Started in 2019, Project Nilay is an initiative that works to empower children from challenging backgrounds such as orphanages , childcare institutions and juvenile homes by focusing on their holistic development. Through our programs, we work with them on socio-emotional learning, provide personal safety education, raise awareness about rights and responsibilities, and promote sustainable development goals. By fostering a safe and nurturing environment, we aim to equip these children with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in society.
