Empathy desk

On September 1st, 2023, along with my teachers and friends, with the support of our social outreach teacher, we set up an empathy desk outside Kanya Maha Vidyalaya College. We donated our old clothes and distributed snacks such as biscuits, pulses, wheat, rice, and other edible items.

Event

Had the incredible opportunity to inspire hundreds of students at Doaba College, Jalandhar during the Green Fusion event organized by the Eco Club. Joined by esteemed speakers, Dr. Girish Sapra and Bharat Bansal Sir, I shared my motivational journey with students from various schools. Reflecting on my humble beginnings at Mata Gujri Khalsa College Kartarpur, where I embarked on my environmental journey by planting 30+ plants as part of a Solvathon Reap Benefit project. What started as a quest for recognition soon blossomed into a passion for social impact. I shared with the students the transformative power of starting small, as my own journey began with a single step. Winning recognition for planting those 30+ plants ignited a fire within me to continue making a difference. My dedication to environmental causes led to remarkable opportunities, including a trip to Bangalore, where I had the privilege of meeting fellow change-makers and showcasing my achievements. It's incredible how a small act can lead to big opportunities. My journey taught me valuable skills, from communication to leadership, and instilled in me a deep sense of purpose. Tell them to let’s continue to make a effective and positive impact

Black Spot fixation

Me and my team, inspired by Bharat Bansal, cleaned up the area in front of Devi Talab Mandir. We got together with 14 community helpers to tackle the spot near Doaba College, Jalandhar . We managed to clear away 300 kg of waste and disposed of it properly. Then, we made sure the area stayed clean. I and Armaan led this project with guidance from Bharat Bansal. We visited the Municipal Corporation office, talked to the Devi Talab Mandir cashier, met with Doaba College Principal, and got insights from locals. We also gathered feedback from tourists and shop owners about the area.

Waste segregation session

Through the social outreach program at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya College, I had the opportunity to visit GSSS RANDHAWA MASANDAN in Jalandhar, where I, along with my friends, taught students about important topics such as waste segregation. Focusing on waste segregation issues, we discussed precautions and solutions using presentations. I had the privilege of educating approximately 40 students on these matters, aiming to make a positive impact on their understanding of waste management.

Planted trees

Inspired by the need to address pollution and deforestation, I took action in 11th grade by planting over 30 plants. This initiative earned recognition from Salvathon, fueling my commitment to environmental causes. Since then, my journey has been driven by a passion to make a tangible difference. From humble beginnings, I've grown to advocate for sustainability and motivate others to join the movement. Each step forward reaffirms my belief in the power of small actions to spark significant change.
