Fixed the black spot - Basaweshwar Nagar
Finally fixed the problem of black spot of Basaweshwar Nagar. Our Reap Benefit team solved the problem with the help of Residents, church people and BBMP. The process we went to fix the spot is that, after collection of waste we bleach and water the place then we swept there. next step is we cleaned the wall, then we pained it, the paint is the combination of blue and terracotta color, for a bottom of the wall we used terracotta paint because it cover up the dust and mud. top of the wall we painted blue because behind the wall there were building that color is blue so its represent the property belongs to someone else. then we built the brick as a side walk, the reason is it create the illusion that the property belongs to someone else's. Our plan was built 10 bricks and give some gape and again built the 10 bricks. That time a resident gave idea to build bricks fully and plant there, it will avoid the to dump the waste, even we accepted the idea because after done the work he feels ownership of the land and he will take responsibility there. he brought remained bricks, dusts etc. It saved the money of the organisation. That day everyone helped us BBMP and residents. It made successfully black spot fix.

Finally we got the approval to access CCTV of Basaweshwar Nagar which is near to the black spot. It was great experience with control room. There watched the day to day actions around the black spot. Its helped to understand human behavior, the time spend by Pourakarmikas to clean the spot, the quantity of waste collection, number of people throw the waste, find the reality and day to day action to find the solution.

Reported the issue of black spot in police station - Basaweshwar Nagar
We visited the police station in Basaweshwar Nagar police station for the permission of CCTV access which installed close to the black spot at Basaweshwar Nagar. I need to access CCTV, it help to understand human behavior of the area, find the ground reality, reason to dump the waste and to find the quantity of waste generated per day etc. It will help to solve the problem because we have clear picture while solving the problem. We got approval from the Inspector of Basaweshwar Nagar police station.

Visited Mr. Venkatesh the Assistant Executive Engineer's (AEE) office to report the issue of Basaweshwar Nagar's black spot, discussed about the problem, taken action by him, next step and also discussed our next step to solve the problem. He is impressed our work and he gave support and gave approval to work there. I got permission letter from him.
